Innovative Powertrain
Ram has creatively found a way to add greater range, speed, and strength to the Ramcharger without adding a larger and heavy battery: a gasoline-fed generator. This onboard generator takes the form of a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, which acts as a 130-kWh generator for the 92-kWh battery. The battery pack alone facilitates 145 miles of driving range, but when assisted by the generator, that figure balloons to 690 miles.
This unique powertrain can produce 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. It also allows a best-in-class towing capacity of 14,000 pounds and best-in-class payload capacity of 2,625 pounds.
Quick Charging
Charging up the lithium-ion battery pack is made simple with a quick-release charging mount that fits into a lockable, waterproof enclosure. The Ramcharger can handle three different levels of charging. The included Level 1 charging cable allows you to recharge at home using an 110-volt outlet.
Level 2 charging can be done at home with a professionally installed unit or on the road at any of 200,000+ stations across North America. Level 3 DC fast charging can add up to 50 miles of range in just 10 minutes, so you can get back on the road quickly.
Class-Exclusive Technology
Three massive, technologically advancedscreens can be found inside the Ramcharger’s cabin. For the driver, an available vertically oriented, 14.5-inch center touchscreen offers the world at your fingertips, with standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a wide range of in-vehicle apps. EV-specific pages and available off-road pages provide you with detailed information about your truck’s health and status.
A class-exclusive, 10.25 inch passenger interactive display is an optional add-on that allows your copilot to listen to their own music, watch movies, and access the truck’s functionality through their own screen.
